JBrary- A Goldmine for Parents

Have you ever wondered where and how certain phenomenal women spout volumes of songs and rhymes- all while usually running a gorgeous household to boot? These traditional maternal types are role models for the rest of us who are hoping to in some way follow in their footsteps for entertaining children- and I am proud to report that, while preparing for my “Read, Play, and Grow” sessions at the Brooklyn Public Libraries in Brooklyn this fall, I was led to JBrary. I have been utterly thankful to the brilliant pair of women in Canada who started it! It’s not always easy to come up with stories when you’re tired, unexposed to them, forgetful, or simply overworked. By looking at this site for a bit, I promise that you will be all set. You can even do what did and write some of the words down, so that you won’t forget lyrics. I highly recommend checking out their various rhymes, lap bounces, and puppet integration! There is offered so much, including: Baby and Toddler Storytime, Songs to get the wiggles out, Animal songs and rhymes, Bath time stories, Diaper changing songs, Scarf songs and rhymes, and so much more. Once you start clicking around, you’ll see…

Have fun!
