Take a Hike in the Wissahickon Valley Park

Hit the trails on this sunny in The Wissahickon Valley Park. Start out on Forbidden Drive at the bottom of Bells Mill Road and walk towards the Valley Green Inn where you can stop and feed the ducks and geese. This trail is relatively flat and suitable for strollers. Or try the opposite side of the river if you want more of a challenge. Don’t forget a change of clothes, as you are likely to splash in the water.

New to this motherhood gig? The Nesting House Mt. Airy has the best new baby support group so you can put on real clothes (if you want), step outside and get some fresh air and probably make some new friends as well. The West Philly location meets on Thursdays.
