Baby & Toddler Storytime at the Free Library, Parkway Central Branch
Aside from the fact that the Free Library’s Parkway Central Branch’s children’s library is one of our favorites in the city, Miss Mary and her frog will treat you and your wee ones (up to 23 months) to a hopping good time at this popular weekly event. Be sure to like the Parkway Central Children’s Department on Facebook to keep up with all the great stuff happening there!
Baby Nights at the Colonial Theatre
$9 regular admission
When my babies were very new and did nothing but eat, sleep, cry, repeat, I LOVED taking them to the movies. From Disney’s UP! in 3D, to Harry Potter 6, to Money Ball, my newborns never met a movie they couldn’t nurse and sleep through. The Colonial Theatre’s Baby Nights showing is a great opportunity to get out of the house and stimulate your brain with a great movie. This week, The Big Short is showing, starring Brad Pitt (with a beard!), Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and Steve Carell. Need I say more?
