Must Haves for Pregnant Mamas

June 7, 2017

When you’re pregnant, there are so many things to consider, and the marketplace is crowded with all kinds of products. It’s tough to know where to begin, so we asked our friends at Noobie Box to share their picks to get you started.

Our 7 favorite products are a mix of ‘must-haves’ during pregnancy and items you need to prepare yourself for your new life as a mom.

Maternity wear you actually want to wear: It’s very hard to find… But we think two brands are doing a great job: JoJo Maman Bebe & Stowaway Collection.

Allette Nursing Wear: Prepare for breastfeeding and spoil yourself (in advance) for doing it! 🙂 Allette creates beautiful, Brooklyn designed and produced nursing wear you can actually wear during pregnancy, of course very convenient when nursing, but also when you’re done nursing!

Happ Diaper Bag: One of the hardest things to pick is a diaper bag. A lot of them out there are so childish or awful, not a bag you want to actually wear. The Happ bags are beautiful. Definitely not the obvious diaper bag, so you can easily use it to go somewhere without the baby! Order your free pregnancy Noobie Box for an amazing Happ offer.

Pehr Design Swaddle: You can never buy enough swaddles! We personally love the Petit Pehr swaddles: nice prints, good size and very soft! You can find them in the Noobie Nest, our first milestone box for your baby’s first year.

For basics for the baby my ‘go-to’ is Carter’s. Great onesies and pajama’s! We’ve got you covered with a super cute first little outfit in Noobie Nest!

Stock up on bottles! Even when breastfeeding it’s important to get your baby used to a bottle. MAM bottles are great for an easy switch between breastfeeding and bottle. You’ll find one to try out in your Noobie Box – free pregnancy edition.

Noobie Box was founded by three European women, Renske Gosselink, Steffanie Possel and Charlotte Torris. As new moms living in New York City, they discovered a shared nostalgia for the mommy box experience popular in Europe.

“In trading stories and advice with each other and new American friends, we realized how much our girlfriends back home turned to their mommy boxes during the first days of taking care of a new baby.” Casual conversations during play-dates became serious business lunches about how to introduce this special occasion to new moms in the U.S.

“Yes, we believe the Noobie Box is more than just a service, it’s a celebration of a new life. And we look forward to helping thousands of new moms throughout the U.S. mark their milestone with Noobie Box.”
