Giveaway! 4 Tix to Tony Nominee Peter & the Starcatchers

May 8, 2012

David Rossmer, Adam Chanler Berat, Carson Elrod in Peter and the Star Catcher

You may be familiar with the wonderful children’s novel Peter & The Starcatcher by Dave Barry & Ridley Pearson, which is the Peter Pan prequel that tells the story of how a lost boy became Peter Pan. If you’re not familiar,  the new Broadway show, Peter & the Starcatcher, is a perfect introduction to it for you and anyone over the age of 10. (I’m going with my husband!) There are only 12 actors, but the play has 112 parts. It’s a simple set, but it’s handcrafted from bottle caps and lost and found items. It has gotten amazing reviews and blog press and I’m dying to see it…so I’m thrilled that we are able to give away a family 4 pack of theater tickets to see the musical!

'Peter and the Starcatcher' stars Adam Chanler-Berat (fourth from left) as the mysterious Boy and 'Smash' star Christian Borle (fifth from left) as the pirate Black Stache. The O & M Co./AP

The musical has  been nominated for 9 Tony Awards ® including Best Play, Best Original Score, Best Actors and more…If  you like the tv series Smashed!  you will be excited to know that Christian Borle plays the male lead in “Peter & the Starcatcher“. He has received a Tony nomination for this performance (he has won 2 from other productions) and in this role he proves that he is “insanely talented and funny.
