If you are the owner of a small business, or are thinking of starting a new business, there’s an amazing resource in Brooklyn for you: The Business Outreach Center (BOC) Network. It’s a small business development group that helps New Yorkers do everything from putting together business and marketing plans to figuring out how to grow a business. I met with one of the private consultants there for free a while ago and was pleased with the advice I got.
BOC Women’s Business Center has a Start Smart Series this month and next. Learn the nitty gritty from real business owners about the fashion, restaurant and writing business world (though I bet their experience will help a lot of other kinds of business owners too.)
