Kids Music Listings this Weekend: November 27,28

Not surprisingly, there isn’t much music going on this weekend but there is a big show of Dan Zanes and Friends at Williamsburg Music Hall. There are still tickets left and it could be a great way to dance away those pumpkin pies!

Saturday November 27th

2:30 pm: It’s Broadway! Featuring Bass Baritone Gunter Stern
Description: Bass baritone Gunter Stern belts out show-stoppers from “Carousel,” “Babes in Arms,” “Pal Joey,” “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Guys & Dolls,” “Can-Can,” and more.

Sunday November 28th

1:00 pm: Kidrockers: Rhett Miller and Spirit Family Reunion
The idea of Kidrockers is simple: indie bands perform family-friendly sets of their own songs.  It’s a nice way to keep a little bit in touch with some of the current indie artists and entertain your family.
Details: The Rock Shop 249 Fourth Ave (between Carroll and President Sts)   Cost: $12 in advance, $15 at door

3:00 pm: Dan Zanes and Friends
If you want to work off the Thanksgiving meal on Sunday, take the kids and head to the controlled chaos of a Dan Zanes show.  Father Goose will be in the house to mix things up and more along with other of Dan’s special, talented friends.
Details: Williamsburg Music Hall 66 North 6th St.  Cost: $25 advance / $25 day of show  If you can’t catch this show, go to Montclair, NJ and catch Dan Zanes on Saturday at The Wellmont Theatre
