Photographer Sarah Sloboda captures our Veeps – (as in “Vice Presidents” or “VIPS”), featuring a Brooklyn parent – every week for us. If you would like to be featured as a Veep- email us!

Here’s a bit from Sarah about the shoot:

Neige and I had a great time discussing the woes of New York City living – sirens aren’t a sleeping baby’s best friend, nor a sleeping photographer’s for that matter.  Sometimes it’s nice to just be able to vent!  Her husband’s family is from Cleveland, so we also shared a love of things going on in that city – and I got to tell her about my love project: the blog Cleveland Hipster, about fun and quirky things to do.

Names: Neige and Mae
Neighborhood: Brooklyn Heights
Ages of Kids: 10 months
2 Favorites Places in Brooklyn to hang out with your kids: Starbucks, or anywhere that serves a great cup of joe, the Promenade and Harry Chapin Park
Special interests / hobbies / passions (of yours): running,  home design blogs,  murder mystery novels and visiting new places
Anything you would like to say to your kids? Thank you for taking it easy on me,  you are such treat to spend time with…  And sorry for always smelling like coffee…
