Back in May we wrote about one of our favorite parenting resources, Realbirth,, closing. We got wind that a new entity called Tribeca Parenting was going to open up with some of the former Realbirth teachers. This week we got an email from Tribeca Pediatrics about the launch of Tribeca Parenting. Good luck and great news!
We are thrilled to announce that Tribeca Pediatrics is expanding its family services with the launch of Tribeca Parenting, an education resource for expectant and new parents. Tribeca Parenting offers classes to help parents through pregnancy and birth, and then to guide them into parenting.
Taught by more than a dozen experienced health educators (including many former Realbirth teachers), the curriculum begins with Preparation for Childbirth, Baby Care Basics, and Breastfeeding Basics. It also includes the New MOM (Meeting Other Mothers) series, Breastfeeding Clinics, sessions on CPR and vaccines, and a variety of Parenting workshops. Classes are held at Tribeca Pediatrics locations in Tribeca, Park Slope, Williamsburg, and Chelsea. The full list of classes and instructors is at Tribeca Parenting.
Please call or e-mail Emily Cohen, Tribeca Parenting’s Manager of Education, with any questions.
