¡Bienvenidos! Spanish Sing-Along with Lucy Kalantari! at Lark (Flatbush/Prospect Park South)
Mondays 11-1145a.  $10/family.  Learn Spanish in song with your child every Monday at Lark Cafe with Lucy Kalantari. Lucy will guide you through songs both new and familiar while exploring colors, numbers and animals. You’ll go on a mini-adventure during story time with delightful, illustrated books in Spanish. Finish off with a jam session and dive into rhythmic fun.

Monday March 27th 1115a-12n.  Free.  Join Miss Nina and the Jumping Jack for sing along, move-along and read-along fun! Ms. Nina’s passions are providing children and their families the space and opportunity to enjoy music and movement together.

Butterfly Boogie at Chatham Square New York Public Library (Chinatown)
Monday March 27th 330p.  Free.   For ages 5 and older.  Think bugs are gross? Think again! We’ll take you and your students on a 3,000-mile adventure and show you why they’re actually the coolest creatures around. The musical, interactive performance introduces students to metamorphosis and the interdependence of plants and animals.  Presented by the Central Park Zoo Wildlife Theatre.

Tuesday March 28th

Stomp, Clap & Sing with Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band at the Central Brooklyn Public Library
Tuesday March 28th 11a-12n.  Free.  Location: Dweck Center.  A hip-shaking, head-bopping morning of music for the cool crowd from Latin Grammy Winners!  Emmy Winning Performers!!   Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band is on the pulse of all things kids music and brings smart, crafty lyrics with irresistibly fresh pop beats.

Sing-Along Presented by Yo Re Mi at Busy Bodies (Clinton Hill)
Tuesdays 330-415p.  $20 per class.  All ages Welcome.  This class features familiar sing-along songs as well as new ones. Children develop coordination through rhythm exercises, discover the joy of playing instruments, and learn basic yoga poses. Early exposure to music is essential to developing minds, and enriches the dynamic between child and parent. Children share and express in a group environment. Dan Costello is an early childhood and elementary music educator who designs and implements curriculum at The Co-op School and Tribeca Community School. Children should attend with a parent or caregiver.

Lavender Blues at Jñaña Wellness Center (Boerum Hill)
Tuesdays 4-440p.  $20/drop-in.  Lavender Blues is an intimate music & movement session for babies and toddlers. During our 40 minute classes kids develop an understanding of rhythm and music, build awareness and control of their body as well as develop social and coordination skills—all while singing, dancing and having fun!  We sit in a circle, sing songs, play instruments, have movement with our fingers, arms and feet, as well as march, dance, and play with a ginormous parachute!!   All of our classes are drop in, so that you may pay as you go! ArchForKids presents Going Beyond Words at the Kings Highway Brooklyn Public Library
Wednesday March 29th 330-530p.  Free.  Ages 8 to 12 yrs old.  Do you try to imagine the world of your favorite book, or the type of life your favorite character lives? Construct an environment using your favorite book/story as inspiration.

Gross Biology Series at the New Amsterdam New York Public Library (Tribeca)
Wednesday March 29th 4p.  Free.  For ages 5 and older.  From the digestive system to our immune system, students discover what’s inside of them and how their body works hard to keep them healthy.  Presented by the Children’s Museum of Manhattan.

UniverSoul Circus at Aviator Sports and Events Center
Wednesday-Thursday March 29th-30th 7p.  Tickets: $18.  Also Saturday April 1st 12n & Sunday April 2nd 1230p.  Tickets: $21.  Aviator Sports will have tickets on sale at Customer Service for the these shows. For all other tickets please visit the UniverSoul Circus website. UniverSoul Circus is ongoing at various times until Sunday April 16th.  See website for details. UniverSoul Circus is a highly interactive combination of circus arts, theater, and music. Under the single ring big top circus arts, theater and music come together as one. Thursday March 30th

Parent/Baby Yoga at Park Slope Yoga Center
Thursdays 11a-1215p.  $10 for first class.  $18/drop in.  Class cards also available for purchase.  See the website for more information.  Recommended to parents with infants from 3 weeks to 22 months old, our Parent/Baby Yoga Classes are taught by two teachers at once! This mixed level yoga class specifically designed for parents with babies to get in a full class without having to leave their babies at home.  Teachers tend to both parent & baby.  Class also happens Tuesdays 11a.

Sing Along with Amy Miles at Parkette Brooklyn (Sunset Park)
Thursdays 11-1145a.  $10/family.  You may have seen Amy on PBS kids Lomax the Hound of Music, Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls, or Amy’s own web series Meow Meow Music. Amy is a working composer and performer for adults and children. From performing with They Might Be Giants, writing music for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and being a full time Momma herself, Amy stays busy. Playing original and well known songs on guitar, ukulele, and percussive things, singing stories with puppets and bubbles, Amy brings her quirky, country rock and casual style to the sing along arena.

LibraryBash! Science, Sound & Sustainability at the Greenpoint Brooklyn Public Library
Thursday March 30th 330-430p.  Free.  Library Bash! Is a fast and funny performance in which you’ll discover a musical world of Science, Sound and Sustainability! Find out about the secret lives of instrument families while exploring the science behind them; check out our crazy instruments made from junk; and then learn how you can build your own cool and weird musical noisemakers from recycled and reused materials – and start your own trash band!

ARTech: Adventures In Art + Techchnology (Meatpacking District)
Wednesdays-Thursdays 3-7p and Saturdays-Sundays 10a-5p until April 29th. Free and open to the public. RSVP is required for a timed entry slot. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. The Meatpacking Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to invite you to experience ARTech: Adventures in Art + Technology! ARTech is a two-month long pop-up activity center comprised of STEAM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) experiential workshops, installations, and interactive moments for school age children + their accompanying adults. Note: Each attendee is allowed 1 hour within the space to engage with the various stations. A 15 minute warning announcement will be announced before leaving the space. Playgroup at Bija Kids (Clinton Hill)
Monday-Thursday until May 4th 330-5p. For ages 1-3y. *No playgroup April 6th, April 10-13th. Spots are available on a first come, first served basis. Playgroup has a capacity of 15 families. $15/drop in (space permitting). NEWLY REENVISIONED Bija Playgroup is an introduction to Bija curriculum for our youngest participants – ages 1-3 years. Each session includes guided free play in our beautiful classroom space with puzzles, blocks, dough, dramatic play and art materials as well as a teacher led activity. Our approach is interactive and joyful and we pride ourselves on creating an environment conducive to learning in fun and engaging ways. Sign up for one or more days a week or drop in (space permitted). Parent or caregiver participation required. Playgroup is a perfect introduction to our drop off programs, preschool and camp. Mondays: Movement and Music, Tuesdays: Visual Art, Wednesdays: Interactive Storytelling and Thursdays: Sensory Play.

The Princess, The Emperor and the Duck at the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre (Central Park)
Tuesday-Fridays 1030a & 12n and Saturdays & Sundays 1p until September 17th. Tickets are $8/children and $12/adults. A modern retelling of three classic Han Christian Andersen tales. Set in Africa, China and our own Central Park, The Princess, The Emperor, and The Duck retells storyteller Hans Christian Andersen’s world-famous fairy tales — The Princess and the Pea, The Emperor’s New Clothes and The Ugly Duckling — bringing the Theatre to life with new marionettes and hand painted scenery. Guided by a narrating Owl, audience members fly into each story with the original tales that teach important life lessons still relevant to children today.

Drop in Play at SPARK by Brooklyn Children’s Museum (DUMBO)
Wednesdays 1-5p, Thursday 1-6p (admission is free Thursdays) and Fridays-Sunday 1-5p. $15/child. (BCM Passport Members enjoy free admission). Each day at SPARK, kids can: BUILD IT! Design your own structures in our popular exhibit Brooklyn Block Lab. MAKE IT! Creativity abounds in our art activities that change each week. TOUCH IT! Get cozy in our Discovery Den featuring soft play and reading space, and a series of discovery drawers that hold treasures from our collection as well as tactile materials for little hands to explore.

Open Play at NURTURE{BKLYN} (Windsor Terrace)
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 930-1130a & Tuesdays & Thursdays 4-530p. $10/drop in. Class packs also available. Unstructured indoor open play and socializing for babies & toddlers in a bright and cozy space that has all the comforts of home. We offer several play areas for children as well as a cozy space for you to relax and have a cup of tea or coffee while your child explores and socializes. Child-led play, parent/caregiver supervised.

Play Space Winter Schedule at Juguemos a Cantar (South Slope)
M-F 9a-12n and 330-530p until March 30th. $12 per visit / Sibling $3 per visit. There is no registration required for Drop-In Sessions. You can enjoy our playspace as a DROP IN (pay as you come), with our PLAY PASSES (pre-pay visits), or have a MEMBERSHIP (unlimited visits for 1 month). Juguemos a Cantar Drop-In Play Space offers a social learning environment that includes exploration and interaction for kids 0 to 4y. A large, clean, well-equipped, airy indoor play area full of fun, music, a play kitchen, blocks, trains, doll houses, working bench, tools, puppets, soft play area, ball pit, books, craft table, & more. Monday: Singalong with Damian & his drums (Spanish & English) 1015a, Tuesday: Singalong with Ivan & his drums 1015a, Wednesday: Singalong with Ale (Spanish/English) 1015a, Thursday: Singalong with Turcker 1015a and Friday: Storytime (Spanish/English) 1030a.

Tots Drop in Center at Congregation Beth Elohim (Park Slope)
Tuesdays-Fridays 915a-12p until April 7th, 2017. Please note: the drop in center will be closed on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Fees: Temple Member $10/child, $15 with additional sibling. Non-member $12/child, $18 with additional sibling. Visit Passes also available for purchase. See website for more information. For ages birth through 24 months. All children are accompanied by their adult. Parents, caregivers, and children come together to discover, learn and have fun! The Drop-In Center is held in our Social Hall, which becomes a large indoor play space with age-appropriate toys and activities. The program is coordinated by an early childhood facilitator.

Open Play & Activities at Recess (DUMBO)
Monday-Thursday 9a-530p, Friday 9a-5p and Saturday-Sundays 9a–1130a*. Drop in $30 first child, $20 per additional child. Memberships/play packs also available for purchase. (Please also bring socks for kids and adults). At Recess, we understand the value of flexibility and convenience. Your kids may come in and play anytime during our scheduled play hours. We’re ready when you are! Recess offers free weekly classes for members and drop-ins! Recess Story Time (0 – 3 yrs), Monday at 11a & Tuesday at 3p. Recess Craft (6 mos – 3 yrs),Thursdays at 230p. *Weekend afternoons are reserved for birthday parties.

Twinkle Playspace (Williamsburg)
Monday-Friday 10a–6p and Saturday-Sunday 8a-1130a. First Time Pass – $25 (only for the first time). $35 for additional visits. Memberships also available. Located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Twinkle’s 4500 square foot play space has innovative custom-made exhibits to cater to any child’s wildest imagination. These special exhibits, designed for the under 6 crowd, are a harmonious blend of urban life and nature that encourages the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of a child in an accessible, high-quality learning environment. Twinkle hosts open play 7 days a week and children can also have an unforgettable birthday with exclusive use of our playspace! So drift away and enjoy the ride with your child in this magical journey to a world of infinite discoveries and treasured moments. Twinkle is a socks-only environment so please keep this in mind for children and adults entering the playspace. Parental supervision is required at all times, no drop-offs allowed. Parking is available under the BQE (Brooklyn-Queens Expressway) which is only a block away from us as well as street parking.

Toddler Open Play at Prospect Gymnastics (Flatbush/Ditmas Park)
Mondays & Wednesdays 10a-12n, Tuesdays 1-3p, Thursdays 10a-12n & Sundays 3-5p. Note: week of 2/20-2/26 there is only Open Play on Sunday the 26th. $15/single drop in, $100 10 class pass. Open playtime for toddlers 4 and under. Parental supervision required.

Open Play at Curiosity on Court (Cobble Hill)
Monday-Friday 10a-6p & Saturday-Sunday 9a-6p. Open Play drop-in: $25 per child, $45 for 2 siblings, $6- for 3 siblings. Weekday monthly passes and pass packages also available. Welcome to Curiosity on Court, a world of energy busting excitement! Our custom designed play structures and exhibits were created to raise the curiosity and fuel the imagination of kids 1–10 yrs old. Whether they’re conquering our climbing wall, taking a ride on the subway, making connections on the magnetic wall or finding their route through our multi-level play structure, there’s hours of fun for everyone. Family Fun at Ms. J’s Gymnastics & Dance (Williamsburg)
Mondays-Wednesdays & Fridays 9a-330p, Thursdays 10a-330p, Saturdays 1-2p* and Sundays 9a-11a*. Just $10 per visit.** Ms J’s Gym is for the whole neighborhood, especially during inclement weather! Come practice tumbling, make a play date, or simply run around! Just $10 per visit.** Family Fun is parent or guardian supervised. Ed Center in Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 1
Tuesdays & Thursdays 3-5p and also Saturdays and Sundays from 1–5p. Free. The Ed Center is open for free, drop-in hours three afternoons a week! Get to know Brooklyn Bridge Park with our 250 gallon aquarium filled with critters from the East River, a 10’ scale model of Brooklyn Bridge Park, crafts, a reading corner, and much more!
